While on a trip to Ireland in 2018 with my husband, I took as many pictures as I could. This one was taken at one of my favorite stops on the drive around The Ring of Kerry. There was a fly fisherman enjoying the fantastic day and if you look closely you can see him in the painting at the end of the rock formations. The sun doesn't visit Ireland as much as they would like and the week we were there was the exception. The contrasts in color and texture were what inspired me to paint this scene. It was lovely.
